He was a whiz at math and engineering, could break down and repair a V-8 engine, and was a skilled carpenter who could build anything out of wood. He was fairly conservative—He voted for Eisenhower—but switched to the Democrats out of a loathing of Richard Nixon.
That sounds like my grandfather! I liked both your parents a lot, Henry. Your mom was the first to tell me that the name "Terrell" came from Thorvald, the Viking God of Thunder. I thought, "Wow, I'm related to The Mighty Thor!
